The Imperial Guard's Rebellion

A country bumpkin, poor, superior alpha x a proud, beautiful, inferior omega

**I'm not very good at writing blurbs. This story is just for fun, so let me tell you a condensed fairy tale ^^**

One day, a naive little dog wandered into a noble's estate. At the gate, it met a blue-purple iris for the first time. The iris proudly claimed to be a precious blue rose, and the dog believed it.

But the iris couldn't keep a free-roaming little dog by its side. So the dog wandered through the estate and saw real blue roses. Looking at the garden full of blue roses, the dog thought, "Ah, how special that blue rose at the gate is."

The dog didn't think the iris had lied, because that iris was just as precious to it as all those blue roses.

At last, the dog got lost in the vast estate. Following the iris's scent, it wandered in circles until it finally made its way back to the gate.

The sun was shining brightly. It curled up next to the iris and dozed off.

When they were teenagers:

Le Yi: "I want you to be my dog."

Cui Yu: "Sure, sure. You're rich, so I'll be your dog."

As adults:

Le Yi: "A superior alpha shouldn't want to be an inferior omega's dog."

Cui Yu: "Cui Yu wants to be Le Yi's dog."

A note for readers:

Entries that start with a date are diary entries, and the dates indicate roughly when each chapter takes place. The entries in corner quotes are Cui Yu's diary, and the ones without them are Le Yi's. The author has an amateur English translation of both diary entries in the author's notes. Readers, feel free to come up with a better version.

Content warnings:

1. The point of view changes several times.

2. The relationship has its ups and downs, with some angst.

3. The author is very chatty, so readers may want to turn off the author's notes.
