The Cat-and-Mouse Trap

Young Master: "If your identity is exposed, find somewhere deserted and end it yourself."

Jin Zhao: "QAQ"

My name is Jin Zhao. I'm an assassin with several different jobs. Lately, my targets keep getting taken care of before I can get to them, and I can't complete my assignments. It's a real headache. (Scratches head.)

But then, inspiration strikes! A detective named Lu Sen came to me and asked me to help find a murderer.

I wanted to refuse, of course. I couldn't exactly ignore my own identity. But the price he offered was so high that I just couldn't say no...

I hid my identity while feeding him clues, and we solved case after case in no time. Just as I was about to collect my pay, Lu Sen stood up and stared at me.

"It's not over yet. The real culprit still hasn't come to light."

"?"

"Someone's using another person to do their killing." Lu Sen put on his coat and headed for the door.

"We're still looking?" I hurried after him.

"No need. The other side is about to run out of places to hide."

I stopped, narrowing my eyes as if watching a disobedient child.
