Twins (Short Story)

Lately, things in the capital have been rather unsettled.

The young master of the Li family died, and his body was found in a rather undignified state.

With nothing better to do, I decided to investigate the truth behind his death.

Two sisters were deeply involved in the case. The younger sister had been engaged to the young master of the Li family.

(PS: The story is told from "my" perspective, but it's about the sisters. I'm not the protagonist; the sisters are.)

--- End of announcement, rambling below ---

A short story, probably around 10,000 words? Maybe not even that many. I'm still writing it, and I'll post it once it's finished.

I opened this story by mistake, QAQ. I had another great idea and planned to write it in advance, but I clicked the wrong button and published it. But an empty spot or a dead tree in my collection would look bad, so I'm posting this short story instead.

I wrote this short story when I was in middle school. Reading it again, I only have one thought: kids really don't know when to hold back. They just throw in whatever comes to mind.

(There are also some lyrics I wrote back in middle school. They're so embarrassing now they make my scalp tingle. I considered deleting them, but then I thought that without them, it wouldn't feel like middle school anymore, so I left them in.)
