---Story blurb---
[1]
Juan Er has trouble walking and relies on a wheelchair to get around.
One day, Juan Er wakes up freezing in an unfamiliar place.
An unfamiliar location, surrounded by strangers.
And... no memory of his past.
A broadcast tells Juan Er and nine other people that they're finalists in the "Million-Dollar Contest." If they can get out of the building, they'll split a million dollars.
At the same time, a clear voice comes through Juan Er's communicator:
"Hello, hello! Can you hear me, Challenger Juan Er? I'm your personal liaison, Li Jiulin, and I'm here to..."
Juan Er doesn't pay much attention to Li Jiulin's long explanation. He thinks the man's voice is so nice, like his future wife.
[2]
The broadcast encourages the finalists to sabotage one another. After all, there's only so much prize money, and the fewer people who get out of the building, the more each person can take home.
Juan Er looks at his "competitors":
A genius mechanical repairman, a muscular middle-aged man, a little girl with the aura of a top student, and a lovey-dovey couple...
Among everyone there, he seems the least likely to make it out of the building: a disabled person like him.
[3]
The building has ten floors, and the elevator is the only way down to the next floor.
The elevator's capacity keeps shrinking.
They draw closer and closer to the truth.
[Humanity has never won by killing one another]
[It wins through cooperation]
Theme: Good things don't just fall from the sky.
This book will be completed in February, which is the end of chapter 100. The next book will be "In a World Where Porters Are Prevalent", which focuses on the entertainment industry. I hope I can sign the third book.
