Fake Master, But My Teaching Is the Real Deal

A combination of fake master-and-disciple, fake secret identity, and fake faked death! Have a look at the blurb and add it to your pre-read list, everyone!

The real master is in closed-door cultivation, but someone needs to take his place and oversee the sect.

As a friend of the real master, I agree to his request, take on his appearance, and teach his disciples.

But one of the disciples senses from the very beginning that I am different from his master.

He is confused, and he can't figure it out.

He's confused about why his master changed after returning from visiting a good friend. Why did his temper change so much?

He can't figure out how, despite the dramatic change in personality, his master is teaching real skills, and teaching better than before!

It's true that I'm a fake master, but as I keep teaching, I go from just killing time to getting really into it.

I'm having a great time sparring with my disciples. Who could resist teaching them some real skills?

The way he looks at me with respect, admiration, love, and devotion is wonderful!

Then the real master finally finishes his closed-door cultivation. I hand over my duties to him and return to my immortal island.

Some time later, the real master knocks on the door of my immortal residence.

"I can't teach this disciple anymore!"

"What happened?"

The real master sighs. "He says I'm not teaching him anything real enough, and suspects I'm a fake!"

Me: "...Huh?"

Fake master-and-disciple pairing. The main story is told in third person. Come give it a try, come give it a try!

Theme: Let a touch of heroic spirit mingle with the immortal air. Only silliness and passion never go out of style.
