The plot gradually got back on track. The fake young master's business grew until it surpassed the Lin family's, but unlike in the original story, he didn't turn against the Lin family. Instead, he maintained a good business relationship with them and was as close to Li Xiao as a real brother.

On the day the fake young master's company went public, the System appeared once more.

System: [Mission: Rape the fake young master. Reward: Change the Host's ending of becoming homeless.]

For the first time, Li Xiao found the courage to defy the System.

He grabbed a kitchen knife, hid in the wardrobe, and resolved to resist to the end. "Go ahead and roll back time! Even if you do it ten thousand times, I will never do something like that!"

On the second rollback, the wardrobe door opened.

Standing at the wardrobe was the fake young master, wearing nothing but a shirt.

The fake young master rubbed Li Xiao's head and said gently, "Come on, big brother. We have no choice."

Li Xiao sniffled and took a little bell out of his System inventory. "No, I can't let the System control my whole life. And I got a reward earlier that can cancel one mission. If there's really no other way, I can use the item..."
