[Tower of God] I Transmigrated After My Hidden Character Route Was Forced into a Bad Ending

Taro got a romance game recommended by a friend, Dokidoki: A Journey Through Love and the Tower of God. She had never played a romance game before and wasn't particularly interested.

Her friend assured her confidently, "Relax. I know you're a super hardcore shut-in who'd drag someone out and shoot them without mercy even if they came at you with love in a home-invasion-style romance. I've already modified the code for you. I guarantee you can get a sweet happy ending with your eyes closed! Just enjoy yourself!"

A week later, Taro sent her a CG.

A death ending.

Her friend slowly typed out a question mark. "What did you do? In this stupid game, can't you just pick whatever you want as long as your stats are high enough?"

Taro replied honestly, "The developers hadn't finished this route, so I got killed by the plot."

Although I did manage to win the character over.

As it turned out, thanks to Taro's unusual thought process and the high stats her friend had set, she had accidentally stumbled into a hidden route the developers hadn't officially released.

She fought monsters and leveled up, leaving the protagonist's party far behind, and joined the organization [Moonlit Winged Pine].

If her teammates hadn't had affection meters above their heads, she might have forgotten this was a romance game.

Out of respect for the game, after maxing out her teammates' affection, Taro picked the one she liked best and confessed.

But since that teammate was a hidden character, the worldline was forced to pause, and she met a tragic bad ending.

Taro deleted the game and left her bewildered friend behind, walking away with a carefree air.

The next morning, she woke up in a rice paddy.

She quietly lifted her cloak. The insignia of [Moonlit Winged Pine] was perfectly clear.

Taro: ...

There's a special kind of bad luck where the developers' mess gets dumped on you, and you really do have to bear the consequences.

During the final test, an unexpected visitor arrived. Taro was silent for a moment, then asked hesitantly, "...Is it Moonlit Winged Pine?"

Kun, not yet realizing how serious the situation was: "Yes. Why?"

The usually quiet, taciturn girl closed her eyes. "Kun, if, and I mean if, after I work hard to become an important companion to everyone in this organization, I accidentally die because of circumstances beyond my control, and I still haven't found an excuse to explain why I'm here..."

Kun: ...

There's no saving her. Just bury her.

Theme: Save your game often.
