Why Compete on Talent? Let's Fight for Our Lives!

There is a legendary figure on the track.

She runs with a deathly pale complexion, as if she had been dead for three days, and stiff, pained steps. Her eyes are lifeless, and black resentment hangs over her without the slightest attempt to hide it. She looks like she might drop dead on the track at any moment.

And yet, she often leads the pack all the way to the finish.

After being crushed time and again by the talented classmates in her year, Fuharano Nashi decided to give up on her track-and-field dream.

Just when her future seemed hopeless, she was found by a System called [Run Yourself Into the Ground, As Long As You Don't Die].

As the name suggests, it lets her body obey her mind completely. Even when she's so exhausted she could pass out and die at any moment, she can keep running.

The price is that the strain on her body multiplies.

Fuharano Nashi doesn't have many strengths, but being hard to kill is one of them.

She has her fair share of flaws, too.

Her biggest one is refusing to give up.

1. The setting mixes various sports anime. The pairing is already set: Kozume Kenma. One-on-one pure romance, with friendship as the only other kind of relationship.

2. Nashi is a little sickly and a little crazy. The main reason she can get back up after falling countless times isn't courage or strength, but sheer stubbornness.

In short: "I've got one lousy life, so I'm going all in."

3. Don't try this in real life. It's easy to die.
