[Western Crossover] The Batkid Refuses to Acknowledge Their Family

What does it feel like when your game saves become reality?

Brittany's answer: Better get settled in Arkham.

-

As the gaming industry rapidly evolves, there's everything from Gotham: Seeds of Sin, where you start from scratch as a supervillain, to the player-made fan game Wayne Family Wellness Guide, to 108 Days of Passion with a Superhero.

As luck would have it, Brittany played them all.

In Gotham: Seeds of Sin, she turned Arkham into her own backyard. In 108 Days of Passion with a Superhero, she unlocked the "Detective's Broken Heart" achievement. She even used a custom mod to install eight hundred health monitors in the entire Wayne family.

She isn't just Miss Blake, aka Black Sea, who gets VIP treatment at Arkham and beats up vigilantes and supervillains alike. She's also the Wayne family's doctor, feared by the whole family and second in status only to their butler. And she's an ordinary high school girl who turned a dating sim into a detective game.

But then Brittany transmigrates.

She lands in Crime Alley, Gotham. With no other choice, she silently opens the Gotham Gazette.

Headline: Arkham Breakout, Black Sea Mysteriously Disappears

That's her villain account.

Second page: Terrorist Attack at Gotham University Leaves 36 Dead...

That's her bad-ending romance save.

Third page: Bruce Wayne Announces His Latest Romance...

She plays match-three games every day... Wait, that hair color, eye color, and jawline?

Oh no.

The Batkid-literature trope has finally come for her.

-

What's an orphan's first reaction after transmigrating and learning her biological father is a billionaire?

Black water ripples quietly at her feet. A row of potions sits neatly before her.

Broke Brittany: (closes her eyes) (hides her secret identity)

First, Black Sea's file has enough dirt on it to get her executed eight hundred times.

Second, there's no way to explain her position as the family doctor.

Finally, the person she tried to romance was the world's second-best detective, technically one of her brothers, and their route ended in a bad ending.

Fine.

In short, she can't acknowledge this family!

Warnings:

1. For fans of the Batkids, here's a family all cut from the same cloth, full of tight-lipped people who struggle to communicate. The heroine is awkward, stubborn, and gloomy, and her refusal to speak plainly leads to misunderstandings. [Pay attention!]

2. Romance pairing mentioned, no Batmom. Fundamentally a family story, warm and lighthearted. The Joker suffers worse than death, so come on in without worry.

3. Our motto: Joy! Happy endings! HE!

4. The cover is misleading (it's commissioned art, don't accuse me of copying). It shows a later-stage version of the story, so keep that in mind.
