He Yan is a business elite and a born genius. He's had very few disappointments in life, apart from the unrequited love he suffered in his youth.

His first love went abroad, and he and He Yan were never meant to be. With nowhere to vent his deep regret, He Yan finally meets Zhu Xu, who looks almost exactly like his first love.

He Yan offers Zhu Xu a contract. He'll pay her to be his first love's substitute.

"You have to copy her clothes, her style, everything about her."

"Don't get any ideas about me. This is just an act. I could never fall in love with you."

Zhu Xu is a shameless gold digger who loves money more than life itself. After seeing the price He Yan offers and his unbelievably handsome, ice-cold face, she thinks she's hit the jackpot. Money is falling from the sky! And the bills are pure gold encrusted with diamonds!

She agrees without a second thought, moves into He Yan's mansion at lightning speed, makes him coffee at the office during the day and brews goji berry tea for him at home at night. She does her job diligently and happily counts her money.

She assumes life will keep going smoothly, until one day, his first love suddenly returns to the country!

Zhu Xu figures that she's made money and had fun with a handsome man these past few years, so she's come out ahead either way. But now that the real deal is back, it's time for her to pack up and quietly bow out.

She hands He Yan her "resignation," takes her savings, and gets ready to enjoy a comfortable retirement.

But He Yan refuses to let her go. He grips her hand tightly and won't release her.
