Coveting My Royal Sister-in-Law

Bai Yingxue, a noble consort, is in deep trouble.

Her foolish and tyrannical husband, Emperor Lu Xuanran, suddenly dies after taking too many golden pills.

Lu Xuanran has no children, so it is all but certain that his younger brother will succeed him. The throne will undoubtedly go to Prince Qi.

Prince Qi is young and strong, handsome, and skilled in both letters and arms. His ascension would be a blessing to the people and a wonderful thing for everyone, except Bai Yingxue.

Bai Yingxue has never gotten along with this brother-in-law. While Lu Xuanran was alive, she used her husband's favor to torment and humiliate him time and again.

Bai Yingxue is certain he hates her to the bone. But when he storms into the harem to "settle accounts" with her, she realizes his feelings go beyond mere resentment...

"Lu Xuanran hasn't even been buried yet, and you're already eager to give yourself to me?"

"Where are your eyes wandering, Sister-in-law? Why won't you look at me?"

"Look at me! Don't think about him! Don't think about anyone else!"

"Stand up straight!"

"No wonder they say my sister-in-law is peerlessly beautiful and talented. That flute just now sounded like heaven. I love watching you play! Lift your head and play another tune..."

Bai Yingxue knew he was no good, but she never expected him to be this awful.
