The Empress Dowager and the Powerful Eunuch

Yin Mingzhu was the most exalted woman under heaven, and she treated Pei Yu like a tame dog at her feet. It wasn't until the day of the palace coup, when he strode into Yining Palace in his python robe and jade belt, that she saw the mad obsession concealed in those phoenix eyes, an obsession kept hidden for twenty years.

"Your Highness used to love giving this servant orders." He trapped her between the brocade covers, his scorching palm resting on her waist, yet his voice remained so respectful it made her tremble. "From now on, this servant will attend to you every day."

She was an arrogant and domineering Empress Dowager. He was a powerful eunuch who had repressed his desire until it drove him mad.

When she raised her hand to slap him, he licked the lipstick she'd left on the rim of her cup...

When she called him a dog, he knelt and held her ankles...

"In Your Highness's eyes, this servant is a dog. But from the first day you stepped on me, I wasn't thinking about the pain. I was thinking... that your ankles are even more beautiful than they are in my dreams."

"When I used to kneel, I was resentful. Resentful that Your Highness was so cruel, resentful that you never saw me."
