My Brooding Disciple Won't Leave Me Alone

#A gloomy, manipulative ghost of a man practically oozes off the screen#

#A sunny, flirtatious heroine who quickly accepts the ghostly man#

Li Yueyao is a top cultivator of the Hehuan Sect. Her cultivation is first-rate, but her character is rotten.

She flirts with people everywhere, getting them utterly infatuated, then says she's tired of them and slips away.

She also has a disciple, an orphan she picked up on a whim. He's exceptionally gifted, well-behaved, and considerate, and everyone in the sect praises him.

At first, Li Yueyao doesn't pay much attention to him. She even considers leaving him behind and retiring with her current "cultivation partner."

Who would have thought that Ling Chen would meticulously plot to cut off every romantic tie in Li Yueyao's life, then trick her into returning to the sect and keep her all to himself?

Li Yueyao never imagined that after dominating the cultivation world for a lifetime, she'd end up falling into this boy's hands.

A little scene

Ling Chen: "Am I scary? Sometimes, I feel like a beast."

Li Yueyao: "You do seem like one... But if I can keep you fed, will you stop biting other people?"

Ling Chen: "Yes. As long as you're by my side, I only need you... And you only need me, too. Everyone else is unnecessary. I like the way you look at me, even if you look down on me, even if you pity me... just like when we first met... I love you..."
