[Younger seme who acts like a mom x volatile beauty uke] [On hiatus; it may be a while before I can resume. I'm truly sorry.]

(Starts in childhood, a story about relying on each other to survive, with a growing-up-together setup)

Chu Ting unexpectedly wins Best Actor for a film.

In an instant, his life is forced into the spotlight,

including Si Mingjie.

The newly crowned Best Actor and his mysterious lover have always kept a low profile and avoided attention,

but countless netizens and paparazzi piece together Si Mingjie's identity from little clues.

Si Mingjie: male, five years older than Chu Ting, not in the entertainment industry.

Some say Si Mingjie was a delinquent in school, smoking and drinking and doing it all.

Some say he dropped out of high school and became a gigolo at a club.

Some say he has a terrible temper and has been arrested for fighting.

Some say he may be beautiful, but he's filthy and never washes up.

And insiders even claim that Si Mingjie often beat up Chu Ting when he was a boy.

In short, he's completely unworthy of Best Actor Chu Ting.

Si Mingjie has just finished competing in a major tournament, and Chu Ting comes to pick him up.

Two cars follow them in the rearview mirror. It's the fourteenth time this month they've been tailed by paparazzi, and this time they've followed them into the parking garage.

The paparazzi's cameras flash furiously from a distance, their lights hitting Si Mingjie, who hasn't slept in two days.

Chu Ting opens the car door, ready to confront them, but Si Mingjie calls out, "Chu Ting, my shoelace is undone."

Chu Ting walks around to tie it for him.

The rumors may be exaggerated, but the one about Si Mingjie's fiery temper is true.

Si Mingjie's canvas shoes are covered in motor oil. He says, "Tie them on your knees."

The next day, when photos of "Chu Ting kneeling in humiliation" go public, netizens notice that Chu Ting is actually smiling.

With such affection.

An avalanche of "What makes him so special?" buries Si Mingjie.

"What makes him so special? I raised him."
