You Still Have to Eat in the Interstellar Age

Star-ranked chef Li Songnong transmigrates to the interstellar age.

To get a meal, he signs up for military academy admissions.

Interviewer A: "You're frail and have no training. You won't be able to handle military academy."

Li Songnong: "I can farm and cook."

Interviewer A: "..."

Interviewer B: "The military academy needs highly capable combat personnel."

Li Songnong: "Intensive training makes eating well even more important."

Interviewer B: "..."

Interviewer C: "This is the interstellar age. The military academy is for people capable of interstellar travel and frontline combat."

Li Songnong: "Even in the interstellar age, people need to eat."

Interviewer C: "..."

No one thinks Li Songnong will pass the annual military academy admissions, especially this year, with the Federal Marshal overseeing the exams.

But a week later, he receives an acceptance letter. The long-suspended agricultural science program reopens, and Li Songnong is assigned student number 001.

Rumor has it that Federal Marshal Wei Ming is cold and heartless, with a face like ice.

Someone once claimed he's a foodie in private, but nobody believed it.

Until one day, he shows up in the line to try the cafeteria's new dishes.

Li Songnong: "What's so strange about that? Even the Federal Marshal has to eat."
