The Personal Guard Came from Ancient Times

Li Baiyu is an utterly ordinary man.

Ordinary family, ordinary education, ordinary job.

One day, he wakes up to find a man lying on his sofa...

The man is wearing armor and keeps calling Li Baiyu "young prince."

After questioning him, Li Baiyu concludes that this burly man may have transmigrated from ancient times.

Li Baiyu: "You say I'm your young prince. What can you tell me about myself?"

Huo Zheng: "You're allergic to mutton."

Li Baiyu nods. "But lots of people are."

Huo Zheng: "You love walnuts and spicy food. You're afraid of the dark and the cold."

Li Baiyu: "A lot of my friends know that."

Huo Zheng: "You have a lotus-shaped birthmark on your right buttock."

Li Baiyu: "How do you know that!?"

Huo Zheng blushes, his handsome face turning red. "Young prince, you prefer men. I've been relieving you since we were children."

Li Baiyu keels over on the spot.

Two little scenes

1. Li Baiyu takes Huo Zheng to eat his favorite hotpot.

Huo Zheng walks in, sees the packed restaurant, and immediately slams a hand on the table and shouts, "The young prince is here! All of you, clear out at once!"

2. Huo Zheng won't let Li Baiyu go to work anymore. He says he'll join the army, distinguish himself, win a new kingdom for Li Baiyu, and make him king.

Li Baiyu: "You can't join the army. You don't have a degree."

Huo Zheng: "What is a degree?"

Reader's guide:

1. A loyal, rugged ancient man transmigrates to the modern world and becomes the top x a cute modern-day wage slave, the bottom

2. A little showbiz, a little silly comedy

3. Both the top and bottom are virgins in this story (strictly speaking)

Theme: Time cannot keep love and courage apart.
