Wen Xiang is a novel about the most popular student at an elite school.
A green-tea supporting character who shares Yu Ran's name is obsessed with the tyrannical F3, whom he secretly loves, and relentlessly targets the beloved protagonist.
In the end, the F3 join forces with others to humiliate and bully him, get him expelled, and bankrupt him. The whole package.
As luck would have it, Yu Ran transmigrates into the supporting character.
Even more coincidentally, Yu Ran is also a sickly green tea.
But he's far nastier than the original character, and he holds a grudge.
Since they caused his death...
Yu Ran decides to seduce the protagonist, so they can all experience what it's like to love someone who won't love you back.
1.
F3 corners him against the wall, pinches his face, and threatens him viciously, telling him to behave and stop targeting the protagonist.
Yu Ran looks up at F3. Out of the corner of his eye, he spots the protagonist passing by, smiles, then suddenly spits out a mouthful of blood.
As F3 watches in shock, the upright and gentle protagonist catches him.
He curls up pitifully in the protagonist's arms, casting F3 a pointed glance.
Then he looks up and meets the protagonist's eyes, sobbing as he says:
"I'm sorry, Brother. I didn't mean to bully you. I just, I just..."
Before he can finish, he closes his eyes and faints.
The protagonist scoops him up in his arms and hurries off to find the school nurse.
From an angle the protagonist can't see,
Yu Ran looks toward F3, curls his lips into a faint smile, and gives him a provocative wink.
2. During horseback riding class, F2 looks at the frail-looking Yu Ran and sneers, "You sickly weakling, you can't even ride a horse."
Yu Ran doesn't so much as raise his eyelids. He walks straight over to the protagonist, who's just finished a lap on horseback, lowers his gaze, and says sadly, "Brother looked so handsome riding just now. If I were healthy, could I be just like you...?"
The poor little thing doesn't get to finish. The protagonist immediately jumps off his horse, his heart aching for Xie Ran, and comforts him. In the end, he even pulls the young man into his arms and rides with him, close together on the same horse.
Sitting high on the horse, Yu Ran looks down at F2's dumbfounded face, a mocking smile curling his lips. When the other man gets riled up, Yu Ran even cowers fearfully into the protagonist's arms.
The faint, cool fragrance around him envelops Yu Ran. Watching F2 suffer from being ignored by the protagonist, Yu Ran lifts the corner of his mouth. But why is the protagonist so tall?
3.
Most people at the academy can't stand Yu Ran, so he decides to take them all on, one by one.
On a rainy day, after successfully giving someone else a hard time, Yu Ran hums as he skips class to rest in his dorm. But there he finds the perfect protagonist, gentle, beautiful, kind, and upright, sitting in Yu Ran's chair with a blank expression as he reads a letter.
Yu Ran takes a closer look. It's the love letter he wrote to F1 on purpose, just to get under his skin.
The protagonist chuckles. "So that's the kind of person Xiao Ran likes?"
Then he stands up and approaches Yu Ran one step at a time, rubbing his chin as he says leisurely, "Why didn't you say so sooner? You made me pretend for so long."
