The Ever-Changing Canary Is Always Secretly Sabotaging the CEO

Shen Ting is a kept lover, spending every day as a "Hope Stone": a statue standing by the door, hoping her sugar daddy will come home.

One day, Shen Ting awakens a Worker System. If she earns an employer's recognition as a gold-medal employee, she can receive a hundred billion in funding.

Crazy about money, Shen Ting immediately changes into the most versatile work uniform: a black-collar suit.

1. On her first day on the job, she awakens as a butler.

Watching Lu Guici bring a girl home, the kept lover who should have been weeping alone instead beams with satisfaction. "You're the first girl the young master has ever brought home."

The domineering CEO: ? She's just a secretary here to pick up some documents.

2. On her second day on the job, she awakens as a housekeeper.

Watching the domineering CEO return home drunk, the kept lover who should have been climbing into his bed gently brings him a bowl of "hangover soup."

That very night, her sugar daddy ends up in the hospital. The diagnosis: food poisoning.

3. On her third day on the job, she awakens as a doctor.

The kept lover, who should have been tenderly looking after him, sends her already weakened sugar daddy to the ICU while treating his food poisoning.

4. On her nth day on the job, she awakens as a bartender.

The kept lover, who used to pass out after one drink, drinks with the domineering CEO and manages to get him completely plastered. She even taunts him, "What, are you nursing that drink?"

5. On her n+1th day on the job, she awakens as a bodyguard.

The kept lover, who should have timidly hidden in her sugar daddy's arms at the sight of thugs, charges into the crowd swinging nunchucks and yelling, "Hi-yah!" In the end, the nunchucks go flying and hit her sugar daddy in the head...

A fortune-teller reads Lu Guici's fate and tells him that unless he dates someone named Shen Ting, his life will be in danger.

Lu Guici: ... Heh, what a fraud.

But as soon as he steps outside, he nearly gets hit by a car. So, with the fortune-teller's help, Lu Guici brings Shen Ting home in the middle of the night.

But the fortune-teller didn't tell him that bringing Shen Ting home would bring him a bloody misfortune!

Every day, the kept lover takes on a different new role, and uses it to wreak havoc on him.

But... after being wrecked by Shen Ting again and again, Lu Guici actually falls for her.

He thinks in despair: Maybe this is what they call Stockholm syndrome.

But when Lu Guici solemnly confesses his feelings, Shen Ting is horrified. "Getting involved emotionally costs money! Please stop saying that."

Lu Guici: ?

He immediately drags Shen Ting home and puts her to the test all night.

Shen Ting looks at it every which way and sees four words: a match made in heaven.

She smiles shyly and says, "I'm in~"
