Seeing Ghosts [Narcissism]

They say that when people come of age, a ghost will follow each of them. If they've done many good deeds, it will be a benevolent ghost that helps them. Otherwise, it may be an evil ghost that takes their life.

These "ghosts" have no recognizable faces, but the people they follow can sometimes glimpse their true forms, especially in dreams. They may look like a loved one, a dear friend, or an enemy.

People don't have to die for a "ghost" to appear at their side. In fact, while people are still alive, their feelings can be projected onto a shadow belonging to someone else, and that shadow becomes a ghost.

I can see the ghosts following everyone and analyze what they're made of. The only one I can't see is my own, until one day... I broke the old mirror in my room in the ancestral home.
