A Few Things About Me and My Dreams

[This one isn't long either. It's a little silly. I caught the tail end of my inspiration and wrote ten thousand words a day, but then kept putting it off and off...]

Real life is a pile of crap, Shen Nanyi often thought to himself.

The only thing that comforted him was the dream he'd created on the page.

In this story, he had a fortune at his disposal, beautiful women all around him, and nothing to do but eat, drink, and enjoy himself every day. Once in a while, he'd also pick a fight with someone who annoyed Shen Nanyi.

In short, every happiness Shen Nanyi could imagine had been gathered together and given to the protagonist of this story, also named Shen Nanyi.

Whenever he felt like reality had shoved a pile of shit in his face, he'd flip through this notebook or turn his anger into motivation and keep writing.

Real life is already this shitty. What's wrong with using your imagination to dream up something that doesn't have to make sense?

Oh?

Oh?

Oh? I must not be awake yet. We just happen to have the same name, right? Looking at the trending topics on his phone, Shen Nanyi rubbed his eyes.

[Shocking! Young Master of a Wealthy Family Runs Away to Avoid Marriage---] Why was this wealthy young master named Shen Nanyi? Marriage? He hadn't even gotten to that part of his story yet, although he did have a perfect fiancee...

This was bad! Wait, why was my name Shen Yi!!!! This was the story I'd written just for my own amusement!!! Couldn't I at least be Shen Nanyi?!

This is the story of an author doing everything in his power to steal the protagonist's entire life (crossed out).

This is Shen Nanyi's love story.
