This Game Is So Much Fun

Wen Liu's family disappears without warning, and all efforts to find them come to nothing.

Wen Liu drifts through life for six months, until, while selling secondhand goods to make ends meet, they somehow apply to become a recycling agent and are guided to open a little game they had downloaded on their phone.

A character in the game, dressed in beggar's clothes and looking just like Wen Liu's father, weakly taps the screen.

"Kiddo, if you don't come soon, your dad's going to starve to death..."

After a chaotic conversation, Wen Liu learns that half a year ago, their father transmigrated into a scavenging game on Wen Liu's phone. He's been surviving by picking through trash every day, waiting and waiting for Wen Liu to log in at last.

Thinking of the other missing family members, Wen Liu stares at the several games on their phone and tremblingly taps one open.

Mom is nervously working as a cafeteria auntie in a horror game, and a dismembered student even asks her why her hands are always shaking.

Their younger sister has been accused of having an affair in a palace intrigue game and is counting floor tiles in the cold palace.

Their older brother is struggling to survive in an apocalypse game. When he tries to grow mutant peas, his companions turn them into a plate of bean sprouts.

Dad, Mom, Sis, Bro: Please, kiddo, play something nice next time!
