I Really Can't Teach My Childhood Friend Anymore

Yan Hecheng was the most notorious little devil in Chongcheng. His father finally couldn't take it anymore and sent him to the mountains for a trial by fire.

A little devil is a little devil wherever he goes, and the mountains were no exception. One day he stole a chicken from the Li family, the next he caught a duck from the Zhang family. A group of kids egged Yan Hecheng on to steal a goose from a widower's home. He went there full of bluster and came back squawking after getting pecked.

When the goose refused to leave him alone, Yan Hecheng climbed a tree to escape. A boy rescued him. The boy was six years older than Yan Hecheng, handsome and refined, and Yan Hecheng was so captivated by him that he forgot himself.

Yan Hecheng spent two months in the mountains. When he came back, he insisted that his father take in a boy. From then on, the little demon was so obedient he seemed possessed, calling out "Brother Jian Ning" in a bright voice all day long.

Everyone thought Yan Hecheng couldn't keep up the act for more than a few days. No one expected the little devil to follow the boy all the way through school, get into the best high school, and then attend the best university.

Many people were eager to learn the boy's teaching methods and sent their own children to him. But they came home in tears after Yan Hecheng beat them up. Some even saw the unruly demon, eyes red, pinning the boy against a wall, looking as aggrieved as a six-foot-three puppy.

"Brother Jian Ning, you can only teach me."
