What Bad Intentions Could a Best Friend Have?

Wen Shusheng inherited his mentor's estate, along with his mentor's only son, Yan Jin.

Yan Jin lost his mother when he was young, and his mentor's limitless affection made him spoiled and stubborn, much to the misery of those around him. After Wen Shusheng inherited the Yan family estate, Yan Jin became even more defiant and unruly.

Remembering his mentor's final request, Wen Shusheng put up with Yan Jin's misbehavior and carefully comforted him through the grief of losing his father, caring for him in every way. All he got in return was, “You're only doing this for the Yan family's wealth!”

Everyone around Yan Jin said Wen Shusheng had ulterior motives, especially his good friend Qin Ming, who was practically at his ear every day, analyzing the “deeper meaning” behind every one of Wen Shusheng's actions.

Yan Jin tried hard to resist Wen Shusheng's kindness. In the end, Wen Shusheng handed over his mentor's estate and left the Yan family. When Yan Jin heard that he was engaged to the young master of the Qin family, he practically crawled to the venue. The first thing he saw was his good friend Qin Ming standing beside Wen Shusheng, smiling broadly.

What bad intentions could a good friend possibly have?

He just happens to be in love with your wife :)
