Lu Xingye didn't get together with Bai Ruo until he was thirty-two. They'd spent their whole lives plotting against each other, fighting tooth and nail. After all that, they finally became a couple, only for Bai Ruo to turn out to be a little prude who insisted they had to get married before they could get frisky.
They had it all planned out.
Get married on the first.
Get frisky on the second.
Then, on the morning of the third, Lu Xingye discovered he'd been reborn.
They were both seventeen again.
Having just gotten a taste of sex before being banned from the bedroom, Lu Xingye cursed, "Fuck!"

Bai Ruo was as fair as his name suggested, with a cool and aloof personality. He was an undisputed top student, always ranked first in his year. He was also incredibly good at fighting, supposedly a black belt in taekwondo.
Lu Xingye was his childhood friend, the school bully at No. 3 High. He was handsome and came from a good family. Aside from academics, he was first in everything.
Other childhood friends were all lovey-dovey, but Bai Ruo and Lu Xingye had fought each other since they were kids. Neither would back down, and they never saw eye to eye.
Of course, Lu Xingye never argued with Bai Ruo about grades.
Later, after they split into academic tracks in their second year of high school, the school came up with some inexplicable study-partner program, putting the top student and the student ranked last in the same dorm room.
The teachers were at their wits' end, worried their star pupil would be led astray.
And so Bai Ruo ended up sharing a dorm room with Lu Xingye. In their first week, they arranged to fight in the little garden over who got to shower first.
When Lu Xingye was reborn, the two were at the height of their feud, about to come to blows, with a huge crowd of spectators gathered around them.
Bai Ruo watched, wide-eyed, as Lu Xingye, whom no one had even touched, fell over and then inexplicably stood back up. Then Lu Xingye gave him a strange look and asked in a clingy, muddled voice, "Xiao Ruo, how did you get hurt? Who hit you? I'll kill that bastard!"
Bai Ruo looked at Lu Xingye.
Under everyone's gaze, Lu Xingye looked at himself.
Wait, could it have been me?

Bai Ruo had been a little troubled lately. His childhood friend had changed, treating him far too well, way beyond what was normal.
As their classmates put it:
Lu Xingye's been acting like a gloomy, clingy dog desperate for Bai Ruo's affection.
At first, Bai Ruo found it annoying.
Then he decided it wasn't so bad. After all, Lu Xingye was sincere.
Later, he wanted nothing to do with him.
What kind of dog was this? This was a ravenous wolf, intent on getting into his pants!
A prissy, slow-to-warm-up bottom whose only interests are studying and his rival × a top who just wants to cuddle and cling to his sweetheart
