Marrying the Tyrant

In her previous life, Jiang Si was a beauty offered by a small border kingdom to Emperor Mu Shen of Great Qi.

For once, the usually obedient Jiang Si defied the decree and refused the marriage. In full view of everyone, she fled the carriage.

The familiar young man appeared in fine clothes. Jiang Si begged him for help: "I'd rather die than marry Mu Shen..."

"Why don't you want to marry me?" He gazed at Jiang Si tenderly, but with a disturbingly unhinged smile, and called her by the title she feared most from her past life: "My beloved consort, I've come to take you back to the palace..."
