Whenever He Gets Yandere, I Pick My Feet [GB]

The heroine has been with her boyfriend for four years. She never noticed the ropes and stainless-steel chains hidden deep in the back of the closet, the golden lock tucked beneath the cupboard, or the 125 knives arranged from smallest to largest in the bottom drawer of the bedroom cabinet.

One day, someone told her that her boyfriend was a yandere.

The heroine: "Oh."

[You know he follows you everywhere when you leave the house, all the way until you get home, right?]

The heroine: "Oh, I didn't know."

She picked at her toes. The shadowy figure behind the tree hurriedly pressed his lips together.

[You know he sits beside your bed every night while you're asleep, staring fixedly at your face in the dark?]

The heroine: "Oh, I didn't know."

She picked at her toes in the night. The person sitting by the bed like a ghost panicked and lay back down.

[You know he's measured your arms and legs because he's planning to do something terrible to you?]

The heroine: "Oh, I didn't know."

She picked at her toes. The person measuring things with a tape measure, his face dark, hurriedly looked away.

[You know he wants to keep you locked up here forever, so you'll never have a normal social life?]

The heroine: "Oh, I didn't know."

She picked at her toes. The person glaring fiercely at every blade of grass and every tree nearby trembled, his eyelashes fluttering hard.

[This isn't right. You have to run,] the voice said. [Do you want me to help you escape?]

The other person laid out 1,001 escape plans.

The heroine: "Oh."

The heroine: "Maybe later. I'm a civilized person. Let's wait for him to realize on his own that something's wrong."

The other person: [All right, I'll help you.]

Later, the male lead realizes how twisted their relationship is. He tells her all his despicable thoughts, then brings out the things he'd kept hidden in the dark but never used, preparing to destroy them.

He says, "I know I'm wrong. We should have a healthy relationship."

He doesn't notice the heroine across from him gradually dropping her joking demeanor. The warmth in her eyes slowly, steadily fades.

Falsely civilized, genuinely yandere x genuinely civilized, falsely yandere
