Find Someone Else to Have Your Baby

Under Chen Yu's emotional manipulation, Lin Yue

closed her dessert shop and stayed home trying to conceive.

But it did not last. With no source of income, Lin Yue had to look to Chen Yu for approval even to see a doctor.

The emotional torment and repeated disappointments finally stripped away the illusion of Chen Yu, the so-called “heartthrob,” that Lin Yue had held onto.

At last, Lin Yue found the courage to ask Chen Yu for a divorce, resolute and determined.

In the past, she had been devoted to Chen Yu and obeyed his every word, having almost lost her sense of independence.

So when she said the word “divorce” for the first time, Chen Yu did not take her seriously at all.

He was certain that Lin Yue had long grown accustomed to relying on him and could never bear to leave.

So instead of reflecting on his mistakes,

he met his unattainable first love even more brazenly and frequently,

without any regard for Lin Yue's feelings.

But when Chen Yu received the divorce agreement drafted by the lawyer,

he finally came to his senses and panicked.

The terms on each page felt like cold shackles, making him suddenly realize

that Lin Yue was serious this time.

A terror he had never felt before welled up inside him.

All the ways Lin Yue had once been good to him, things he had so easily taken for granted,

now surged into his mind like a tide.
