Can an Eyeball-Type Horror Lay Eggs?

Chu Qing grew up in a mental hospital and knew from an early age that something was seriously wrong with him. After all, his neighbors:

The director, an old man, dragged brain matter all over the floor whenever he went looking for his eyeballs. The pretty auntie loved taking her head off to comb her hair. And the naughty kid's favorite prank was hanging upside down from the ceiling to scare people.

But Chu Qing knew they were all very, very nice people. It was all just his hallucinations playing tricks on him.

Then one day, a red eyeball appeared out of nowhere. It crawled into his bed with a whimper, and sometimes crept through the crack under the bathroom door to spy on him while he showered...

At first, Chu Qing thought nothing of it. That is, until he woke up one day with slimy bite marks on his neck. Things gradually started to seem wrong.

He realized the eyeball seemed to have developed an excessively unhealthy attachment to him. Though it had no teeth, it would stare at his neck without blinking and keep repeating words like "eat," "love," and "lock up."

After listening to every word and stroking the fresh red marks on his collarbone (love bites), Chu Qing: "..."

For the sake of his life, he sneaked off to a big city. His fellow patients, who had been secretly helping him, all supported his decision. They even seemed... rather reluctant to see him go?

Because wherever he went, he always ran into his fellow patients, including, of course, that inescapable eyeball.

Later: "I can sign your scholarship application for you."

His long fingers tapped the desk, but when Jiang Yu turned away, he secretly sniffed the lingering scent he left behind.

Male Lead No. 2: The school board chairman's son, shrewd and calculating, Gu Li

At first: Gu Li ran a black card across Jiang Yu's wound. "Lick the blood clean, and the money is yours."

Later: "This black card has a limit of a hundred million. Is that enough to buy you dinner?"

A businessman who was always calculating, he was absurdly generous to Jiang Yu alone.

Male Lead No. 3: Medical school president, master manipulator, Gu Xueyi

At first: Gu Xueyi smiled as he held up a sedative, looking at Jiang Yu like a defective product. "The mentally ill should be under lifelong supervision."

Later: "Your temperature is 36.5 degrees Celsius, and your heart rate is elevated."

The hand that calmly announced the diagnosis trembled slightly when it touched Jiang Yu's skin.

Male Lead No. 4: School bully and spoiled rich kid, Zhou Ye

At first: Zhou Ye tossed the key to the fighting ring's iron cage into the fire. "If you can't win, die in there."

Later: "Who the hell told you to look at him?"

The violent boy who kicked over a desk would still crouch down to tie Jiang Yu's untied shoelaces.

When the four of them discovered Jiang Yu was taking "allowance" from all of them, they immediately started a group chat and demanded an explanation: "Care to explain?"

Jiang Yu casually straightened his collar. "Weren't you the ones begging me to take it?"

But it was only after the real shou protagonist appeared that things truly got on track.

The System came online without warning. "You have to bully him, ostracize him, scold him, and push the plot forward until he becomes a common target for all four gong protagonists."

Jiang Yu looked through the character profile and saw that the protagonist shou came from an equally powerful family, at least as influential as those of the four gong protagonists.

"So," he asked the System, "how am I supposed to humiliate him? With the last two yuan and twenty-one cents in my bank account?"

The System replied, "Don't worry. He'll go bankrupt later. It's one of the key turning points where a favored son of heaven falls into ruin."

Jiang Yu believed it. He tried all kinds of ways to ostracize and insult the guy, even resorting to the dirty trick of paying people to abduct him. But he soon realized this shou protagonist was really different. Whenever Jiang Yu insulted him, the guy wouldn't get angry. Instead, he would look at him with an intrigued expression.

Something was wrong. Out of eleven parts, twelve were wrong.

At last, Jiang Yu slapped his thigh and concluded that the guy was a complete masochist.

What he hadn't expected was that this masochist wouldn't go bankrupt at all. In the end, he even got his wish and became Jiang Yu's lover.

"Jiang Yu, if you ever betray me, I'll break your legs."

"Is that so?" Jiang Yu smiled just as wickedly. "Do you dare?"

"Now, stop kneeling and get over here to fuck me."
