I Stole the Domineering CEO's Canary [Book Transmigration]

He Shen Yu transmigrated into a book, landing in a melodramatic danmei novel called A Cage of Devotion. The protagonist bottom sold himself to the protagonist top after his younger brother fell ill, becoming the domineering CEO's kept lover and starting a melodramatic romance of “I love you, you don't love me; I don't love you, now you love me.” The good news was that He Shen Yu hadn't transmigrated as either protagonist, so he wouldn't have to experience that tortured romance. The bad news was that he had become the CEO's personal doctor, a tool who had to get up in the middle of the night at the drop of a phone call to clean up the mess. He Shen Yu took a sip of the drink in his hand and suddenly realized that he had arrived at the start of the story. He had gone out for some air, only to run into the CEO's future kept lover, the protagonist bottom, Ning Chen. At this point, he was still an innocent college student with a timid look in his eyes. He Shen Yu thought of all those middle-of-the-night calls in the future, then remembered how the poor guy had ended up blind. Unable to bear it, he stopped the protagonist bottom right there. He Shen Yu: “Looking for someone to keep you? I can afford a million. Come with me!” * Ning Chen signed a contract to become someone's kept lover to pay for medical expenses. Before he officially started, the bar manager gave him a briefing. For the money, he would have to satisfy all his benefactor's preferences. Once the contract period was over, he just had to tough it out until then. Ning Chen prepared himself mentally. The first time he went to his benefactor's home, he proactively took a shower and slipped off his bathrobe in front of him. But to his surprise, He Shen Yu didn't touch him… At first, he was only relieved. But later, He Shen Yu treated him better and better. They seemed less like benefactor and kept lover, and more like a couple. Still, Ning Chen couldn't understand why He Shen Yu always refused to go all the way with him. When the contract expired, He Shen Yu told him, “You're free now. You can leave.” Ning Chen lowered his eyes and looked at him intently before tossing the contract to the floor. “The arrangement's over, so let's just get married!” He Shen Yu stared at him, utterly baffled. That night, Ning Chen climbed onto He Shen Yu's bed, pinned him beneath himself, and gripped his chin. In a cold voice, he said, “Honey, if you can't perform, I can take the lead instead… And don't ever bring up breaking up again.” He Shen Yu swallowed nervously. What the heck was going on?
