Miss Oda, the Dazai Bait [GB]

Miss Oda has had six extraordinary adventures.

The first was when she was fourteen. Back then, she was an emotionless killer. After finishing a job, she found herself at a loss, holding an eighteen-year-old boy who had suddenly fallen from the sky.

The second happened just before her sixteenth birthday. A little child with cat ears stumbled into her bachelor apartment.

The third was more perilous. Just as she was planning to leave the business for good, she came across a sickly young man who had been kidnapped. She hadn't planned to waste time, but then she saw his familiar face.

By the fourth, the fifth... Miss Oda suddenly realized that although some things had changed, she seemed to encounter the same person in every adventure.

Then, in the sixth, a young man carrying mandrakes walked away into the rain. The water rose over his ankles, his calves, his waist, and finally swallowed everything from sight.

He said, "Thank you, Oda Sakunosuke."

And... goodbye.

Miss Oda fell silent.

After returning home, Miss Oda packed her bags through the night.

With a book in her left hand and a child in her right, Miss Oda kicked open the world's boundaries.

"I have a feeling that I absolutely, absolutely can't leave him unwatched."
