As a cannon-fodder supporting alpha, Ji Yang has a very clear-eyed attitude. He's always prepared for the ending where the protagonist shou does it with him before the protagonist gong kills him. So his life motto is just eight words: enjoy yourself while you can, cut your losses in time.

Ji Yang takes an Omega to the hospital for an abortion, but gets distracted by the new Omega intern there.

Ji Yang, an alpha, gets pinned. An Omega pins him down. He's shocked and furious, but held so tightly he can't move at all. In the end, exhausted, limp, and hoarse, he trembles and begs Wen Song through tears and hand gestures.

Wen Song looks down at him. He has none of an Omega's scent or bearing, and Ji Yang is still trembling as he looks up at him.

Wen Song pins him down again. "Ji Yang, I can't understand you."

Early the next morning, Ji Yang runs away. To hell with that lousy company and the music. His pride and need for control were shattered all over the floor last night, beyond repair. And that wasn't an Omega at all, but a beta with absolutely no pheromones.

Thinking of this makes Ji Yang's fists clench. He flies back to Lincheng in the middle of the night and punches Wen Song. From then on, he can never get away again.

Wen Song returns to Lincheng and starts an internship at a hospital, where he runs into Ji Yang. The first time he sees Ji Yang ^o^/, Ji Yang's supposed girlfriend is apparently pregnant X﹏X.

Hearing that Ji Yang likes soft, sweet-smelling Omegas, Wen Song immediately gets someone to buy Omega pheromones and injects himself with several doses, regardless of the consequences. Then begins his "passionate" cat-and-mouse pursuit of his future lover.

Wen Song pursues him relentlessly, barely giving him a moment to breathe. By day, he's the hospital's new intern; by night, he disguises himself as a heartbroken little Omega seeking "comfort." Every so often, he appears in front of Ji Yang under a new identity, until he finally succeeds in getting together with him.

*Reading Notes

1. Both have issues, and their methods go too far. Don't try this in real life. If that bothers you, please don't read.

2. Ji Yang doesn't know how to love someone. The fox is a little wicked, and there's some coercion, but it's basically consensual.

3. Please don't attack the characters. This is a slice-of-life story, almost entirely focused on romance, with very little plot.

4. If you don't like it, feel free to click away. Don't let it upset you ^O^/, and don't tell me about it either.

5. If you hit a trigger and can't handle it, please leave right away. Don't attack me personally. This is just a little sweet story, and the author is very sensitive.

About Yang: He transmigrated as a fetus. In his original world, he was in a car accident at age 12 and became paraplegic, then died at 17. He lived in a hospital the whole time, and his mind was not fully developed. In the ABO world, Yang has no script of his own, and with no written rules to guide him, he can't escape. He's immature.

The doctor warns him, "They need to be expelled as soon as possible, or your life could be in danger."

The little monster isn't a tangyuan or a jellyfish. It's just a sticky mass of tentacles that lives in the lawless Zone 63 and feeds on corpses.

In his previous life, the Colonel was on the verge of death in Zone 63. The little monster really wanted to find out what a living person tasted like, so it worked up the courage to bite the Colonel's boot. It planned to eat its way up from the bottom.

Hard, and it tasted of dirt mixed with blood.

The Colonel leaned against his broken mecha and smiled at it. For the first time in its life, the little monster blushed. Fortunately, it was black.

Every day, the little monster went out for food to help the Colonel meet his body's needs. It wasn't very smart, and the generals it brought back were never to the Colonel's taste.

The Colonel's health grew worse and worse. Sometimes he mistook it for a toy from his childhood.

Before the Colonel died, he said, "Please eat me. Ah, why are you crying again? Can a monster cry so hard it can't catch its breath?"

It was about to cry itself to death.

In this life, it wants to save the Colonel. The little monster painstakingly crawls all the way from Zone 63 and flings itself at the Colonel's boot.
