The world on the holographic display was being battered by torrential rain.

Someone leaned against a trash can: a once-fastidious superstar, wearing a hood, a baseball cap, and a black mask, slumped dejectedly on the ground.

His phone screen was still lit, displaying a message from someone else.

Serum research had achieved a major breakthrough, but instead of heaping praise on the research team, the base commander had locked the scientists involved in the research in the dungeon.

The lead scientist was very young, only thirty-two. He wore a white lab coat and a pair of plain glasses, and had long hair.

004 swore he would go in there and beat the base commander so badly his own mother wouldn't recognize him.

This white fox had diligently cultivated and done one good deed every day. A Taoist had tricked it out of its spirit pill, a sorcerer had cut off its nine tails, and the humans who had once fed it had driven a peachwood stake into its heart to ward off evil.
