My Childhood Friend Who Dropped from the Sky Is a White Lotus [Entertainment Industry]

[On hiatus] A genius, all-around ACE who debuted overseas at eighteen goes solo and returns to China. He quickly switches into workaholic mode and becomes a special guest on the country's hottest trainee competition show. Liang Chen soon wins a large fanbase in the domestic entertainment industry with his cool, sharp-tongued, yet professional and responsible persona. The show becomes a huge hit, with all kinds of hilarious roast videos appearing one after another, leaving viewers thoroughly satisfied. "Are you all just going through the motions? Have none of the judges noticed?" "I don't expect you to have any stage presence, but you should at least have basic stage skills, right?" "I've never seen singing and dancing this bad. If your company is really short on money, I might consider giving you a subsidy." "Honestly, if I weren't being paid to do this, I wouldn't be able to sit through the whole thing." Ohhhhh! Be harsher! Go on, tear into them even more! Then comes the final round of the individual competition. A vase of an alpha appears out of nowhere, wasting his excellent voice and physique as he sings and dances wildly onstage. The looks-obsessed viewers: Hmm, let me observe three seconds of silence for you first... But when the camera turns, Liang Chen, who should be sitting among the guests and delivering scathing critiques, has vanished due to an unexpected situation. Much later, when Mei Jing shamelessly cuddles up in Liang Chen's arms and presses him about what he thought back then, Liang Chen uses every last one of his people-pleasing instincts to answer: "You were inexperienced, but dazzling." "...Then why did you run away, Brother?" "Because back then, I didn't yet know that this one-of-a-kind gem belonged only to me."
