The Dreamweaver's Empty Dream

Everyone thinks she is clever, solving one murder after another with nothing but the smallest clues.

But in truth, Yu Tangling knows how to summon spirits. She calls forth the wronged souls of the dead and listens as they identify their killers.

She never dares let anyone know she can summon spirits,

because she knows all too well that a tree that towers above the forest is bound to be battered by the wind.

Unfortunately, Shen Sui forces Yu Tangling

to solve a dismemberment case.

Yu Tangling summons the vengeful ghost, but no matter what she does, it refuses to name the real killer.

If it won't talk, so be it. She still has a good head on her shoulders, and she'll find the killer on her own.

But when the truth finally comes to light,

Yu Tangling's heart breaks.

.

-A clumsy short mystery.

-Of course, I don't think it's clumsy. At least the feelings behind the truth really do break your heart.
