After the Female Lead Loses Hope

Qiao Shixian finally comes to her senses: Jiang Shijie doesn't love her.

And so her wholehearted love for him falls like a beheaded camellia.

.

After being forced to get back together with Jiang Shijie, Qiao Shixian becomes timid and fearful, afraid that one careless mistake might offend him and doom her forever.

She lives on tenterhooks, bending everything to his preferences.

Life has no flavor.

.

Depression and pain follow her like shadows,

gradually crushing Shixian.

.

But Jiang Shijie pins her to the bed, his eyes red with madness as he asks,

“Xianxian, why aren't you the same as before?”

.

At first, Jiang Shijie thinks he should move on with his life. As it happens, Qiao Shixian is pretty and innocent by nature.

He dates her with an anything-goes attitude.

He doesn't like Qiao Shixian, so he doesn't take her to heart.

There are plenty of women to choose from. He's no romantic.

.

Once he's truly broken her heart, he suddenly realizes what a jerk he's been.

He makes her give up on him, and only then does he fall for her.

.

When Shixian doesn't return his feelings, Jiang Shijie loses it.

He's like a reactive guard dog at every moment, acting like a madman.

“Xianxian, didn't you used to like me so much?”

.

- He chases his wife to the crematorium, but the second half is half sweet, half angsty.

- The male lead is just plain awful.

- Happy ending.
