He watched his fingertips sink into the soft cheeks as his high combat boots forced the man’s knees to buckle. The fully grown Wolf King bowed before him. “Little blindy,” Shen Ke murmured with a sigh, pressing the glass against the man’s face. “I told you not to try any tricks with me.” As the young man’s face slowly turned pale, Shen Ke downed the drink in one gulp, leaving only a single drop. He wiped it onto the corner of the other man’s eye. The drink smelled fragrant, but tasted bitter with medicine. Shen Ke swallowed it with a smile, his peach-blossom eyes glistening as he looked at the young man’s dawning realization.
