Loading the Gameworld of Luofu

/Second-person POV warning. There are sections from other characters’ perspectives. Please read the notes at the end before starting! You are Player 059, entering the game ‘Luofu’ for the first time today. You were born as someone’s experimental subject and subjected to extensive training, but you don’t care about that backstory. After all, with your intelligence and physical stats maxed out, you’re convinced you can run rampant across Luofu and become a calamity in your own right. Unfortunately, everything about Luofu is completely at odds with your expectations. For example: after sampling all the delicacies Luofu had to offer, you started trying some different things. A sheet of white paper on the table, a fountain pen on the table, and... the table itself. Just as you happily noted that the paper tasted like lychee, the pen like puffed snacks, and the table like chocolate biscuits, Qingque pinned you down and forced you to spit everything out before sending you to the Alchemy Commission. After examining you, Bailu solemnly diagnosed you with pica caused by a cognitive disorder and excessive stress. You: ? Another example: you got so absorbed in a little game that your health hit zero, and you entered the respawn countdown after dying suddenly. Turns out the NPCs could see the countdown too! So you were sent back to the Alchemy Commission, where they concluded you had suicidal tendencies. You: ?! At last, you managed to nurse a certain general you’d found back to health and take him to the Seat of Divine Foresight to resume his duties. You never expected that some time later, while you were doing your dailies, he would arrest you on the spot and lock you in a room. Charge: taking banned drugs. Punishment: forced detox. You: “Dude, this is part of my daily quest! I have to take it!” Outside the locked room, Qingque sighed. “So this is how the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus have been controlling you.” You thought of all the medicinal herbs you’d stripped bare, then of the Disciples you’d beaten to a pulp, and finally said earnestly, “Actually, they never managed to control me.” You tried to explain your invincible abilities, but Qingque sadly interrupted. “Of course. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have ended up needing banned drugs to suppress them.” You: “...How did that make it even harder to explain?” Notes before reading: 1. Though some details are toned down, the story’s orientation is listed as ‘other.’ Your character is an experimental subject cloned from Jing Yuan, using a male body. 2. The in-game ad in Chapter One does not represent the game’s actual content. There is no romance in this story. 3. Misunderstandings may make it seem angsty, but nothing truly tragic happens. 4. The Trailblazer is Stelle. Theme: Let the world be filled with kindness.
