Starting a Death Wish to Provoke the Science-Minded World

[Main story complete, bonus chapters in progress...] As a prospective undercover agent, Yuan Yelin has a Karma Completion System. He can choose criminals as anchors for their sins, making them unlucky and more likely to get caught. And if he happens to die in the line of duty, he gets to return to his wealthy family and enjoy a life of endless luxury! System: “Undercover work is dangerous. Unless something unexpected happens, you'll achieve karmic completion in no time.” Yuan Yelin is pleased. “I think so too.” It turns out every one of these people is messed up. “When I was running from the police, this kid showed up in front of me looking completely deranged and asked if I wanted him to take me out. If I'd actually fallen for his nonsense, he would've made my life a living hell!” “If you take his bait, a one-year sentence turns into three years, three years into ten, and ten years into life! We criminals have to protect our legal rights too!” “Rum is always suspicious that Amarone is an undercover agent, but Amarone does seem to have some kind of mystical knack for dodging death... The organization has plenty of talent, but the boss could really use a lucky mascot with good feng shui!” “It's disgraceful for a cop to plunge into darkness, but Yuan Yelin keeps using ‘trying to get himself killed’ as an excuse to take bullets for the Whisky Group, and somehow manages to cause every member of the organization to get into a car accident. That's when I realized the organization had picked up a monster... Could he be some sort of mystical weapon sent by another faction?” Yuan Yelin: ???????? You're the mystical weapon! Your whole family is a mystical weapon! Could you show me a little respect? I'm seriously trying to provoke you! Tips: * The protagonist is firmly on the good guys' side and is the kind of protagonist who makes his mom want to slap him. Everyone from the police academy squad survives. The plot includes some changes to the chronological order, many original settings, and extensive alterations (important!) * Mainly Detective Conan, with about 5% of the plot from ID: INVADED * No secret identity. The protagonist is an undercover agent using his real name, with the codename Amarone. No pairing * Apologies in advance for any out-of-character moments * Transformative fanworks are welcome within Jinjiang's rules~ (No copying paid chapter text, no spoilers, etc.~) Check out my new story in my author profile: “Rehearsing as a Traitor in the Black Organization” Lingchuan Yao needs to rehearse from childhood for the role of joining a criminal organization and becoming a traitor in the future. His task is to learn how to get himself off the hook when he's suspected. The System helps him pick a persona that absolutely won't be suspected of being a traitor. The only problem is that he starts training a bit early. From first grade, Lingchuan Yao grows up immersed in a criminal atmosphere. So, after enrolling in the police academy, Lingchuan Yao delivers the first pledge of his life: [I will use any means necessary to eliminate my rivals and offer my loyalty for the good of the organization!!] System: ? ??? The drill instructor has a breakdown on the spot: I told him to swear allegiance to the people in front of the police badge and eliminate criminals. Why does it sound like he's joining a criminal organization?? Public security leadership suffers a heart attack: Does he come from a family of cops? Does he really have to become a police officer??? Ordinary citizens: He must be a professional recruited straight out of prison! He can't hide his true colors for a second! His blond classmate: That day, I saw all the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department snipers take up their positions. Then I found out Lingchuan was calling someone to report a lost child. The first thing he said was, “I've got your kid.” The second was, “If you're any later, I can't promise you'll still get to see him...” Theme: Even if it costs us our lives, we must bring justice to the world.
