Gojo's Childhood Friend, but His Ex-Girlfriend

My Miko Powers Saved the Detective Conan World is complete.

Who Says Scotch Can't Set a Honey Trap? is now updating!

[Happy ending. Warning: Reborn from the start, and the setting is deeply unscientific in every sense.]

The criminals arrested by Morofushi Akiko all know that if you're the real culprit and you run into her, you should surrender quietly. Otherwise, if you fight, she'll be even more reckless than you, a criminal with nothing to lose. Why? Probably because people like you are getting in the way of her love life.

And she

Died before dawn.

When she wakes up again, she's back on the day Furuya tells her they're breaking up.

She ignores her childhood friend's ridiculous excuses and smiles as she replies, "Good luck."

During an undercover mission, Bourbon and Scotch spot the familiar person they've missed so desperately at a meeting with another organization they're dealing with.

They gaze at one another across the river. The light of the explosion reflects on her face, flickering and fading, making their reunion seem like an illusion.

She looks at them for just a few seconds, then turns and walks away as if she has no regrets.

She should have been continuing her studies at medical school.

At the Public Security office, the two reunite after a long separation and get into a huge argument.

"What, Officer Furuya? Your lover gets to be the nation, but I'm not allowed to fight crime? Or do you think I'm not qualified? Want to find out?"

What do you want me to do?

My dearest brother, who grew up with me.

The person who treats me like his little sister, sees through my emotions, and does his best to care for me.

The person who, before sacrificing himself on the Ferris wheel, still sent me a message saying, "Take care, and don't push yourself so hard."

The person who taught me how to investigate and helped me grow, step by step.

Do you expect me to stand by and watch them die again?

But I can't say any of that.

"There's nothing more to say. I'm not turning back." Her face returns to its usual cold expression, the kind that makes Furuya feel as though a thousand mountains and rivers lie between them.

When they were children, Furuya always wondered how his little sister could protect him. But even after they grew up, he still couldn't protect her, because in the end she had to choose to stand beside him and defend the faith they shared.

One-line summary, comedic version:

Akiko: "We both have three jobs. Who do you think you're looking down on?!"

*Setting: Hikari lives with his uncle, who lives in Tokyo. Akiko is the uncle's daughter.

*The world is very Detective Conan-like, with some unscientific elements. It would be strange if it weren't unscientific, since everyone's reborn. It also crosses over with Magic Kaito.

The author's logic is a mess. I'll scold myself on everyone's behalf first QAQ

Theme: Protecting love means walking side by side, and defending justice means fearing neither life nor death
