[Synopsis]

Shi Yu and Chu Jingxu have been together for seven years.

From the age of eighteen to twenty-four, they broke up and got back together 108 times.

Chu Jingxu despised Shi Yu for being a gloomy little stutterer who wished the whole world would die, yet putting on an innocent, sweet act in front of his first love.

Shi Yu, for his part, never indulged Chu Jingxu’s spoiled rich-boy temper.

The little stutterer could barely get a sentence out, yet he had driven Chu Jingxu to the hospital time and again.

They were a couple.

They couldn’t stand each other.

Wen Mo was born blind. After his parents passed away, he lived by himself.

Things didn’t go very smoothly.

He had long since adapted to life in the dark and could manage all his daily needs on his own. But after losing his parents, Wen Mo realized that not all darkness was the same.

No one had told him that the milk in the fridge would expire and give him a stomachache.

He forgot to close the window on a rainy day, and the wet floor made him slip and hurt himself.

And when he caught a fever, he didn’t know how to take his medicine.

With no other choice, Wen Mo had to ask a community volunteer for help.

But there was a heavy rainstorm that day, and the volunteer couldn’t come.

Wrapped in a little blanket on the sofa, Wen Mo had no choice but to take the pills downstairs and ask the building’s front desk.

As he opened the door, he heard people talking outside the apartment next door.

After sitting empty for a long time, the neighboring apartment had a new tenant. Wen Mo paused in surprise.

“Excuse me,” Wen Mo ventured, asking them for help. “Could you tell me how to take this medicine?”

The conversation came to an abrupt halt.

Wen Mo tilted his head in confusion.

The next second, the medicine box was taken from his hand.

“Three pills, three times a day,” a young man said in a cool voice.

“Thank you,” Wen Mo said, offering his sincere gratitude. “You’re so kind. You’re a really good person.”

At the time, Pei Zeyang had just been kicked out of his home. He’d broken his leg in a street race, dyed his hair blond, and had dark tattoos on his neck. “...”

His friend beside him silently pounded the wall with laughter.

Only to be kicked into the wall without mercy.

“Right, I’m a good person.” Pei Zeyang handed the medicine back, keeping his gaze fixed on Wen Mo. “If you ever need anything, you can come to me.”

“Really?” Wen Mo was delighted. Even his sightless eyes seemed to brighten. “Actually, there’s something I need help getting, but it’s in a rather high place...”

“I can help,” Pei Zeyang agreed without batting an eye.

That evening, Wen Mo got the little wooden box from his suitcase.

Pei Zeyang ended up in the hospital again.

Later, Pei Zeyang confessed his feelings to Wen Mo.

Wen Mo hesitated. “My mom wouldn’t let me date a delinquent. You’re not one, are you? You know, the blond hair and tattoos and all that.”

“Of course I’m not,” Pei Zeyang replied casually.

After they parted, Pei Zeyang dyed his hair black, took off all his ridiculous skull accessories, and made an appointment to get his tattoos removed.

He was in such agony that he nearly passed out. His friend clicked his tongue and shook his head. “Why are you taking this so seriously? He can’t even see you.”

“What do you know? He can feel me with his heart. Ow, ow, ow!” Pei Zeyang yelped.

His friend: “...”

Being lovesick is terrifying.
