Who’s Fighting Curses in Don’t Starve?

[The main story is complete. There are still a few bonus chapters to come, which I'll post gradually as special extras~] [The bonus chapters have an 80% access threshold~] Hanaishi Eiki is a gatekeeper employed by the Black Organization. His specialty is slacking off and playing Don't Starve while on duty. [Curse Survival is an open-world sandbox survival game. Players take on the role of Jujutsu High students, struggling to survive alone in a Tokyo overrun by curses. The revamped seasonal bosses are waiting for you to take them on!] Hanaishi Eiki opened the message. In the preview, the summer boss from the original Don't Starve had become a volcano-headed figure, while the winter boss had become a horned monster... And at the end, there was even a mysterious boss with two heads and four arms! What a magnificent mod, Eiki the battle gamer marveled. ** There's a weirdo in the second year at Jujutsu High, Fushiguro thought. His cursed tool is a ham shank. He insists on carrying a torch when he goes out at night. He wears a grass skirt over his uniform like some kind of wild man. He's eating all the time, and he'll eat absolutely anything. That part's fine, Fushiguro thought. Maybe it's just a personal quirk. But please stop calling Okkotsu-senpai "Wendy." It sounds like a girl's name! Why do you keep trying to feed me raw meat from some unidentifiable creature... and looking at me expectantly? When did he build that person-high spherical contraption in the classroom? There's no room for our desks anymore. Are you an alien?! And if you're bleeding badly, go see Ieiri-san! Don't stuff bacon and eggs into your mouth at a time like this!!! ** Little skit: The Window received a report that a humanoid curse with special-grade cursed energy had been discovered deep in the mountains of rural Kyoto. Special-grade sorcerer Okkotsu and special-grade sorcerer Hanaishi Eiki were sent to exorcise it. On the way up the mountain, they passed heaps of bones. Okkotsu frowned. "The Window only said it was special grade, but I didn't expect so many people to have died at its hands." Eiki said, "Don't worry. Those are all my bones." Okkotsu: "Oh, good." Okkotsu: "..." Okkotsu: "..." Okkotsu: "What did you just say?!" Notes: 1. The game within the story combines elements from Don't Starve and certain RPGs. The story doesn't involve the plot of Don't Starve, but it does use some of its mechanics, haha. Don't Starve is just a tool. The real goal is to mess with the characters. You don't need to have played it to enjoy the story. You really don't! 2. The plot mainly focuses on Jujutsu Kaisen and Detective Conan, with 70% Jujutsu Kaisen and 30% Detective Conan. 3. It has an everyone-dotes-on-the-protagonist theme, though that might not be obvious at first. 4. No pairings. Everyone's relationship is platonic or familial (?). [Below is the blurb for my upcoming story, When You Open the Queen Mother Simulator:] Jiang Yuanze transmigrated into a strange RPG: [You are the Queen Mother.] [You were once the sun and treasure of the insect race, its one and only beacon.] [But when you wake from your own grave, you find that the entire insect race has forgotten and abandoned you. Even your tomb has been looted by thieves. You choose...] A. Outrageous! I shall restore the court and execute these thieves' entire clans! B. Find out the truth. Perhaps there was more to your death than meets the eye. C. Well, since things have come to this, why not see if the other tombs have anything worth taking? D. I'm straight. I don't want to live anymore. [Using your treasure, you return to the unfamiliar home star system and enroll in the Interstellar Academy, determined to rebuild your power...] A. I am the Queen Mother! Reveal my identity and return to the palace! B. Keep a low profile and bide your time. Things aren't as simple as you expected. C. Well, since things have come to this, why not go do something lewd? D. I'm straight. I don't want to live anymore. [Through an accidental encounter, you build up your own power. Everything is ready, and all you need is a favorable wind. But then the enemy commander comes to you in the middle of the night and kneels at your feet of his own accord. Wrapping both arms around your calves, he begs, "Mother, at last you..." ] A. I, I... B. Pretend to agree, then restrain him by force. C. [Sleight of Hand] Try to pickpocket him. D. ...I don't want to live anymore. [You reclaim your throne. The male insects who helped you before seek you out, each hoping to become your first royal consort...] A. Choose Male Insect A. B. Choose Male Insect B. C. Choose Male Insect C. D. All of them. You can take turns. ** Yuanze, His Majesty the Queen Mother of the insect race, its dawn and hope, has a forum dedicated to him on the Interstellar Net: [Hot!] From a backwater planet to the Federation capital, I tried retracing His Majesty's journey [photo diary]. [Hot!] His Majesty won the decisive battle and reshaped the interstellar order. He only had to do these few little things... [Hot!] Anyone else understand? I ran into His Majesty yesterday and got a can of cola he'd fished out of the trash. I'll treasure it for the rest of my life. [Hot!] His Majesty just climbed out of a manhole again. @Queen Mother Guard, where are you people? [Locked] I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you... Insects are born to admire and worship the player. Just one casual glance from the player can make them fall head over heels; a single plea can bring them to tears. The player can easily win their affection, all of their love. They want the player's attention, the player's touch, and for the player to belong to them alone... They want the player to stay in the nest forever, obediently conceiving and giving birth... But... the player is only ever a player. 1. A silly Fourth Disaster story with some leveling-up elements. Basically, the player character is a human-controlled being who traumatizes everyone. 2. The main story is written in third person. 3. The protagonist is irresistible to many, with multiple characters falling for him. He'll return their feelings later, and the bonus chapters will have different endings. [End of upcoming story blurb] Theme: Don't take absurd things seriously
