The Killer I Made Up Has Appeared

After Lanley successfully killed thirty-six followers of an evil god and avenged his parents, who had been manipulated into taking their own lives, he invented a killer for the police so he could keep hunting down the remaining followers.

According to his account, that killer had murdered everyone who worshiped the evil god around the altar. Lanley was an innocent victim, chosen by the cultists as a sacrifice to their god.

The detective he spoke with, Karin, believed him.

But just as everything was unfolding according to Lanley's plan, the killer he had made up appeared.
