[Harry Potter] Harry Potter and Lidwin

Lidwine's wand and she don't get along. That's okay, she has a dagger.

Lidwine comes from the MacFusty clan, a family from the Hebrides that has cared for black dragons for generations. She grew up following her grandmother around, learning to camp, identify herbs, dance with dragons, cook over a fire, and tame animals.

Why did nobody tell her she had to go to school at eleven?!

The author got the HP bug and wants to write this.

The heroine is a wild-animal sort of Gryffindor with a cheat ability, a very powerful one, practically Mary Sue-level, though it won't come into play until much later. The only canon detail about the MacFusty clan is that they've cared for black dragons for generations. Everything else about them is author-created.

The heroine's dagger is an enchanted dagger for witches, like Bellatrix's knife, and counts as a special kind of wand.

She's a battle mage, and her pairing is Harry, though the romance probably won't happen until much later. The early story focuses on friendship between her and the Gryffindor Golden Trio.

Warning: Slytherin fans, including Snape fans, stay away.
