[Chainsaw Man] The Malleable Chainsaw Man

When Pava first met Mone, she said, "I've never heard such a stupid name in my life! From now on, I'm calling you Mone Mone (Munemune)!"

Mone punched her. "Show some respect and call me Sister Mone!"

When Denji first met Mone, he shouted, "It's the Pervert Fiend!"

Mone punched him. "I'm not the Pervert Fiend, I'm the Memory Fiend! And call me Sister Mone!"

When Aki Hayakawa first met Mone, he said, "Even though this is Miss Makima's request, I don't trust a frivolous person like you."

Mone punched him just like the others. "Call me big sister and I'll not only let bygones be bygones, I'll even take half the housework off your hands."

When Makima first met Mone, she smiled at her. "Say it. Give everything to me."

So Mone said, "I... give everything to Miss Makima."

My name is Mone (Mune). I've forgotten how old I am. I live at Aki Hayakawa's place, and I'm unmarried. I work for the Tokyo Public Safety Devil Extermination Special Division, but my real jobs are hostess and host. I get home before 8 a.m. every day. I smoke, drink too much, and can fall asleep anytime, anywhere. Before bed, I make sure everyone in the Hayakawa household drinks a cup of warm milk, then make them call me big sister for 20 minutes. If they don't, I punch them. Once they're in bed, they fall asleep instantly and sleep until morning, never carrying their fatigue or stress into the next day. Even Miss Makima says I'm perfectly normal.

The title is inspired by Plastic Memories, but the story itself has basically nothing to do with the anime. The writing style tries to stay as close as possible to the original Chainsaw Man, so if you can handle the first part of the manga, you should be fine.

Theme: Only the present can create memories.
