Western Crossover: Denise Wright

As far back as she could remember, Denise Wright had always thought of herself as a golden retriever who walked on two legs, talked, wore clothes, and looked rather human. One day, Batman dumped her in Bruce Wayne's lap after pulling her out of Crime Alley. Unlike the other kids he would eventually adopt, or nearly adopt, her fate didn't change from that point on. Except that she became the eldest daughter of the Bat Family. Happy pup: Yay! I have younger siblings! Alfred: How heartwarming. The other Batkids: Stay away from me! Bruce: Bruce: I'm tired. Let it all burn. Also known as: How to be Trained by Your Dog A DC-centered crossover with the Batfamily and a Cthulhu Mythos setting. The female lead is an unconventional dog-like eldest daughter of the Batfamily. In this version, she's four years older than Dick and a permanent investigator in Gotham for Miskatonic University. She's an energetic, carefree, happy pup, devoted to family and career, and has never been a vigilante in the conventional sense. She's a naturally cheerful lunatic. By the standards of the Cthulhu Mythos, this is definitely a Mary Sue setup, because if Denise were an ordinary person, she'd have ended up in Arkham long ago. The female lead's skills come from Call of Cthulhu tabletop campaigns, along with the author's tweaks based on the rulebooks and Gotham. The Mythos elements may be a little hardcore for a DC crossover, while not being all that faithful to the Cthulhu Mythos itself. If you're an extreme fan of either, please don't read this. No pairing in the main story; the extras are a multiple-love-interest setup. The opening is not the ending. It's a long novel! I won't start it until I finish my current long novel! Theme: The Paw Patrol saves the day!
