[CM] The World Is Falling Apart

You were reborn after fighting tooth and nail to get your doctoral acceptance letter.

You are a typical East Asian girl, raised in a typical East Asian middle-class family. In an age when people love to embrace their inner lunatic, your mental state is beautiful, practically a gorgeous kind of madness. Your world is falling apart, yet compared to the misfortunes of the world at large, you seem lucky enough. That's what you've always thought.

Until you suddenly die the night you receive your acceptance letter. You'd finally found something to look forward to, something to strive for and live for. Perhaps you could have reached a relatively happy ending and found a place to belong. But you died. This isn't a dreamy fairy tale. You died on one page of a vast book, silently joining the sea of ink.

Then you were reborn.

Good news: This time you're American. You've gone from an Asian girl to a white girl.

Bad news: You're in America. Like Bruce Wayne, you lose your parents at eight. Your life is a living hell, full of danger every day.

Your mental state is anyone's guess, and your world is falling apart all over again.

You inherit more money than you could spend in two lifetimes and become a ruthless CEO. You think counting money will improve your mental state. You also think that being orphaned and inheriting a fortune to become a CEO is a lot like being Batman, but this world has no superheroes. Marvel and DC are just comic books.

Heaven seems to enjoy making you suffer until you're sick, then tossing you a little treat. The suffering: a serial killer has you in his sights. The treat: you, a formidable woman, successfully kill him first. The FBI arrives in time, gapes in shock, but declares it self-defense, then has a handsome agent wipe away your tears after you give your statement.

Asian girls and white daddy men make the perfect match.

Your world is falling apart, but Hotch is patching it up.

Second-person POV. I'm just writing whatever comes to mind, so it'll go wherever it goes. I didn't use my brain while writing, so you don't need to use yours while reading.

Hotch falls in love at first sight, so I don't have to write a complicated romance.

The heroine already has mental health issues, so cut her some slack, okay? There, there.

Theme: Keep living through love.
