[Danganronpa] A Shared Spiral into Madness

One of Hope's Peak's most famous couples, also known as the Evil, Wicked Couple of Class 77: Super High School Level Medium Kagami Reiko and Super High School Level Lucky Nagito Komaeda.

The guy is always saying, "I'm so lucky to be with Reiko!" He'll come running over, shouting something like, "Your pain hurts me too, and I want to make it go away!" His signature line is: "I never thought a piece of trash like me could find happiness... This is so full of hope!"

Your future is certainly looking bright. We all have a wonderful future ahead of us. But if you call yourself "trash" again, I won't be very nice to you. That's what the girl says. How about a nice little slap?

From far away, it seems to come from Souda: "Don't, Kagami! Why are you rewarding him?!"

-

Encourage her arrogance. Accept her boldness. Embrace her cruelty. Indulge her destructive urges. Tell her how to give free rein to the basest parts of her humanity.

This isn't tolerance, and it isn't indulgence. It's bringing a god down from their altar.

Only then can a lofty god step onto the stepping stones in the mire. Even if it's only so they can spread their wings and fly again.

-

Take a guess. A fanatic of hope and a witch with a devoted following would have a power greater than the sum of their parts. Are those two seriously going to start a Church of Hope?!

Girl, it's 2024 and you're still writing Danganronpa?

This story could also be called "Kagami Hits Komaeda, and He Takes It Like a Champ."

A little short story written for fun. A very short romance, and I'll write as much as I feel like, but the heroine takes the lead in pretty much every way. The heroine has a terrible personality and isn't a perfect, virtuous person, but she and Komaeda are absolutely made for each other...

[Contains *lots* of scenes of "Komaeda getting hit by the heroine", mainly *slaps*.] But I really do think he'll see it as a reward.

Girl: Say it. Your pain hurts me too, and I want to make it go away.

Komaeda: Reiko's pain hurts me too, and I want to make it go away ^^

Thesis: Don't reward Nagito Komaeda.
