Sheng Ke: "Like what?"

Fu Yuanyi: "Not close to anyone. Always ready to leave."

From the time Sheng Ke was 17 until he was 21, Fu Yuanyi gave him a home and gave him love.

Then he left him without a word.

He gave up on him.

When they met again years later, Fu Yuanyi still called him "Ge."

Sheng Ke gave a cold laugh. "Fu Yuanyi, you know I can't be your brother."

Content notes:

1. They aren't on the same household registration, and they aren't related by blood or family. They're just two people who had nothing to do with each other before being put together. Calling him Ge is just a form of address. I don't know if you could call it foster care.

2. The uke is sickly and weak, and very clingy. If that's not your thing, run! Also, this story has almost no school scenes, since the two of them don't attend the same school.

3. The couple who adopted Fu Yuanyi, Chen Siling and Ling Yu, have a bad ending. Ling Yu lives on in memories, but there are four people in the family. They'll be mentioned, so proceed with caution if that bothers you.

4. Why am I starting this one first? I have no ideas for the others, and forcing myself to write them would be pointless.

5. The logic and writing might be bad, and the slice-of-life story doesn't have much of a main plot. It may be boring, so if you don't like it, just close it. Please don't yell at me.
