This story: Song Qiyan, black on the inside, white on the outside x Tao Hanzhi, white on the inside, black on the outside

(1)

At the bar that day, Tao Hanzhi treated Song Qiyan like a tool.

Song Qiyan treated Tao Hanzhi like a pawn.

Their relationship began with them using each other. Tao Hanzhi wanted to call it quits as soon as her act was over, but Song Qiyan put his whole heart into the performance.

He made it seem real.

(2)

At a certain banquet, Song Qiyan found Tao Hanzhi, looking utterly lost.

The moment they embraced, memories came rushing back.

Only then did he realize that the little girl he'd once rescued was right before him.

They had shared a brief connection.

But afterward, one of them was plagued by illness and confined to a wheelchair.

The other was trapped in darkness, struggling desperately.

(3)

Everyone said that the Song family's second young master, Song Qiyan, was gentle and gracious, a perfect gentleman.

Only Tao Hanzhi knew what kind of soul was hidden beneath Song Qiyan's gentle exterior.

He would grip the back of her neck and kiss her until she couldn't breathe. He would listen to her whimper and beg, yet still refuse to let her go.

With her, he was always insatiable.

Mutual devotion x pretending until it becomes real

The male lead has physical problems x the female lead has psychological problems.

Content warnings:

1. I'm new to writing BG. This is my first proper BG novel, so please go easy on me. Updates won't be daily.

2. It's all tropes, all melodrama, and all nonsense.

3. The male lead uses a wheelchair at first but can walk later. A miraculous medical recovery with no logic!

4. I'm a huge fan of CEO romances, though this one isn't very CEO-like? The wealthy family is just a mostly irrelevant backdrop.

5. It's mainly a romance. The characters aren't perfect, so if it's not your thing, just click the X. I'm very sensitive, after all.

Theme: Please believe that even if you've once been in darkness, a light meant just for you will eventually come. Everyone is loved!
