"Fill out the form, study, and pass the exam to get your license." Hua Boye offers him his gold pen. "Can you read?"

Hu Zheng flips through the questions, and the very first one stumps him:

What is the correct thing to do after revealing your true form in front of a human?

A. Shoot them dead and bury them.

B. Knock them out, then shoot them dead and bury them.

C. Erase their memory and pretend nothing happened.

D. Use magic to make them fall in love with you and have a sweet romance.

Hu Zheng has just marked D when Hua Boye draws a huge X over it. "Wrong! You don't have a human-demon romance permit. You can't date humans."

Hu Zheng's world falls apart. He came down the mountain to seduce people, but without a license, he can't seduce anyone.

To get licensed and seduce people legally, Hu Zheng studies hard every day. But because his grades are so outstanding and his appearance is so square, he's exceptionally recruited into the Demon Management Bureau and given a permanent post!
